Javier CAMPANO

 

Born in Madrid in 1950 where he lives and works.

Since 1975 is dedicated to photography professionally. His first works were published in the journal New Lens makes works as a freelance magazine Triunfo press (1978). The selection of exhibitions began in 1979 with the first solo show in Photocentro. Madrid. The second in 1985 in the gallery Buades and participate in its booth at ARCO 1987.

1998

"Modern city" in the IVAM Valencia.

 

1999

Endesa Gets the Visual Arts Scholarship 2000-2001.

Participate in group exhibition Proposition 99, contemporary Spanish photography. Ministry of Education and Culture. Throughout these years collaborates with Poetry magazine.

 

2000

Collaborate as a photographer in Domestic, annual art event held in Madrid. This same year he exhibited in different worlds collective around the library twentieth century photographers Madrid Canal de Isabel II meantime is author of several books of photographs as "Andalucia, Extremadura" and "Cascais, Estoril, Sintra sonho sites"

 

2002

"Intimate" Plot Gallery. Madrid.

 

2004

Participate in Poetry 1978-2003 exhibition at the National Library of Madrid and this year is published the book "My hat is window" with photographs dating from 1983 taken in the United States.

Exhibition "Hotel Midi" at the National Museum Reina Sofia Art Center.

 

2005

Participates in the exhibition "Photo" in the gallery convenient format. June 2008 exhibition "Fragments and Contrasts" in convenient format.
